The Method of Investigation in Indian Tradition

Abstract

It is the view of many, if not everyone’s, that Indian philosophy is bereft of reason, and it is a form of occultism. Many westerns still hold old-fashioned views about Indian philosophy without getting into its structural depths. . The chief objective of this paper is to show that the very art of investigation into the fundamental doctrines of Indian philosophy vindicates that Indian philosophy is not dogmatic, unrealistic, and illusionistic. The intellectual content of Indian philosophy is very profound and is arrived at 
argumentatively.
