Abstract

Knowledge from Atharvaveda is key to bringing best-in-the-world Wellness and Healthcare to all of India. Today, streams of Vedic experience captured in the AYUSH Ministry name, share common traits centered on holistic, lifelong good habits and a well-lived life. Indians recognized early that the human body is an Extremely Complex System, rather than one based on stimulus-input response with specific drug and surgical interventions. However, just expanding today’s Allopathy-dominated medical structure is unlikely to bring good care to all of India. A two-year pilot project will test basics of a new Rural-Centered Diagnostic Telemedicine (ARCDT) architecture for Uttar Pradesh. ARCDT is based on a rural clinic as Patient Interface. It respectfully enables Indians to access the best of traditional wellness practices, along with modern diagnostics, backed by a broadband telemedicine network connecting to the best in the world. University-based innovation, Ātmanirbhar development and manufacturing of diagnostic devices, using India-specific data protected in India, and integrated research and advancement of all AYUSH practices with greatly enhanced community outreach, are all part of project intentions. We anticipate that these will significantly improve Indian Health quality.
